back to leafcactus

In the spring 2004 Mik and I was on holidays in Andalucia.
One of our last stops was in Tarifa, a wonderfull small town on the southtip of Spain.Just outside the old citywalls we saw a big cactus and I broke off
a twig and carried it home to Denmark.
After a couple of weeks it started growing. My good friend Thierry found out it´s an OPUNTIA SUBULANTA, originally from peru.
Thanks Thierry. He also send me a wonderful Christmas present: Some
incredible leafcactus, I hope I can show later in bloom here on the page.
