When will politicians
regard children
as 

Investments

instead of 

Expenses ?

 

I work  in a "children 3-6 years" old  institusion in Copenhagen.
We meet up every day in central Copenhagen and go by bus into the countryside to a farm.
We are close to nature and big spaces and therefore inspired by that. 

Lots of fresh air, lots of nature, lots of SPACE!

One of my main teaching issues is:"Selfdetermination":
The children learn to take resposibility for their actions and choises.
Verbalize their wishes and needs.And socialize with the world around them.
That means that my job takes as it´s basis in the wishes and needs of the individual child,
-within the limits the teacher(me) has or creates.
Instead of being the teacher with all the timetables and  prearrangings, 
we try to "read",listen to, guide ,support and advise the child!
We try to help the child to build and develope it´s own personality based upon itself.
This is a way of teaching which is very demanding in terms of the teachers scills, 
personalities and education -there are no premade results,-no specific keys.
It´s very important that children allready in a young age understand,respect,
enjoy nature, and that man and beast are all parts of this  world.
This by bringing  nature and children together and nothing as good as:

LEARNING BY DOING !
