SOUTH-CENTRAL PORTUGAL

This summer Mik and I went to Portugal.
We really hadn´t planned where to go in Portugal,
-just southwards, center and
where the wind and mood took us..
But ofcause we´d done some research.
We started off in Lisbon, and stayed two nights at a
gayhotel there: "Dos Anjos".
Rented at car and drove eastover, through the dry
center heading for Monsaraz .
The heat was incredible and we found out there were no
campsites in that area.
So we went on and on and ended up at Serpa,
where we stayed one night.
-Then we left for a more cooler place.
That meant driving towards the Atlantic Ocean.
Got some tips from other people where to go,
but many of the places were a bit too crowded
and touristed for our taste.
We finally ended up at Pessegueiro.
A deserted and nice place with a cosy beach.

Then we stumbled over Lagoa de st.Andre,
-wow it is a real paradise on earth.
We stayed there for 5 days,-using it as a base for small
morning trips into the surroundings and for swimming
and relaxing  in the cooling ocean in the afternoon.
